The purpose of this document is to present the main elements of the construction project of the 2.9MW Falls 210 Small Hydroelectric Power Station, which is part of the ERD-RUMPI project co-financed by the State of Cameroon and the European Union. The latter aims to improve access to electricity for sustainable economic and social development in rural areas of the RUMPI area.
The 2.9MW Falls 210 Small Hydroelectric Power Station will supply electrical power to the national distributor (AES-SONEL) via a dispatch station.
At the end of the procurement following the International Restricted Invitation to Tender of July 15, 2011, for the construction of the Small Hydroelectric Power Station (2.9 MW) Falls 210 in the South-West Region as part of the ERD-RUMPI project. The PUROIL Hydroelectric Group la Prohida is awarded. The works are in progress.
